Today was the day of the open house at the new C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Wow, there were a lot of people there! You could get to see most floors but not everywhere on any floor. There was a lot o waiting at elevators. We left after looking round »
Friday we braved the snow and headed out of Ann Arbor and were able to reach Kalamazoo for dinner, and on to the hotel in Paw Paw without incident. Next day we were braving lake-effect snow and still made it to the cafe in St. Joseph in good time. »
We went to Chicago for Thanksgiving. One day I went out to Lake Michigan to take photos (this is actually on the way) and the other day I went to the river to take photos. I took the D700 and two lenses, 35mm and 180mm. I’ve managed a preliminary review and found 18 I liked so far, of which 2 were with the 35mm. »
