Favorites, not normal
I was out for a walk this afternoon. Recently, going down by the Huron River in town has been a favorite. Cross the river on the Broadway Bridge and reach the path towards the University Hospital at the city canoe put-in. Mostly I’ve been on the bike, and yesterday followed the Washtenaw Border-to-Border trail all the way to Ypsilanti. Today I was on foot and had the camera with me. Typically, when I am on wander-about with the zoom lens on my camera, you’d think it had been glued at the long end (about 75mm), as nearly all my photographs are taken there. But this scene (showing where MichCon have been cleaning up the site of an old gas works) seemed to say “I need wide” and so I was at the other end. It surprised me when I saw it on the computer this evening. So different. Especially when I cropped it into a panorama.
