Yesterday I was fortunate to accompany Patrick Young to photograph some of Martha Keller’s paintings. In theory I was the photographer’s assistant, but in practice Patrick is so good at this that he did not need much help from me. One whole wall of this room was glass and you can see the challenge that created, especially for a painting under glass. Patrick barely missed a beat and each painting/photograph was delivered today in glorious color and detail.
